I was. I heard the alarm and some yelling, but later found out that the lesser-funded Lovell gave away some of the withdrawn money and blew some of it on gifts, but lost much of it on bad investments, prosecutors said.

I saw it right when the cops were pulling up. We were driving up Dan Allen and heading towards East Village Grill when we got stuck at the light. All of a sudden several cop cars pulled up and cops with AR15's jumped out. They were standing by the wolfmart looking down that little allay way. I guess looking for the robber. Kids were walking out of the neighborhood behind hillsborough past cops with assault rifles and through the crime scene tape with some pretty shocked faces.

It was meant as an implication meaning "please give me more information about the subject if you have it," similar to a conversation in which someone says, "I got a new job yesterday" and you respond "You got a new job?"

You aren't hard of hearing and you believe the person, what you want is for them to expound on the subject at hand which you try to coerce through repetition. It's a pretty basic human interaction, happens all the time.
