Does anyone want to do this before I take it to the shop? It looks like a pretty easy fix but I dont have the tools or the time to do the work. I will buy whatever parts are necessary...just let me know how much you want for labor. I can bring the car to you as well.

sounds good. Do I need to buy just the pcv valve or are there additional accessories I need?

hmm i thought the PCV was on the valve cover.

I'll do it for $100. Shouldn't have to remove the intake manifold though some people do it that way. So in that case all you'll need is the PCV valve(Motorcraft EV-243) assuming there are no other air leaks. Actually, go ahead and pick up the PCV hose assembly(Motorcraft KCV-116) too, it seems like that rubber elbow always cracks.

thanks to smc for a job well done. Turns out there was a pretty big gash in the PCV hose.
