no hdmi and yes i called gamestop...its normally a $80 trade in for working systems but they will take one as long as it is NOT the 3 red lights for $30...and currently have a $30 extra trade in on systems toward a new one and will apply with the broken one. I called, you can call for yourself.

I wouldn't go that high except that it's got the power brick and controller. This is assuming it has never been "fixed" before. 95% of the time it's been destroyed by someone that has no idea what the fuck they are doing, so it's worth less if it's been touched by someone else.

^I've had a mixed success rate with e74s, they can be really tricky. I've had a couple that have worked flawlessly right after repair with no issues, I've had others that just refuse to get worse even after a reflow. I even had one that I brought to Game Dynamics in Raleigh and it failed again the next week.

They're just too unpredictable to be worth my $50. Hopefully you'll get lucky with this one though.

^^^^ As long as they haven't been fucked up by other "repairs" my SO has had pretty good results fixing them. It's the people that try and fail to repair it then expect him to clean up after them that are the problem. He's had to clean up way too much of the shit this one kid from craigslist has done.

^^^ I can ask him for actual stats on his success rate. As long as some idiot hasn't fucked up the xbox he's way above 60%, over 90% AFAIK but I get tired of the xbox talk so I try not to ask him for details that often. The difference is that most people will think they have melted the solder when they have not, and it just works because they have clamped the shit out of the chips. That's beyond the understanding of the average xbox fixing idiot.

His personal xbox is one he got that had a E74 error and he's been playing COD:MW2 (aka the xbox killer) on it for hours at a time without a problem.

This is the guy that fixes them posting.

I can kill an e74 error dead. I (so far) have not met an e74 I could not fix. I just have a gift for it or something, I don't know. It's the 0022 and 0110 errors that I have the least amount of luck with.

Hell, I sell the power bricks for 30 bucks and can get 20 from a controller, so whatever.
