i have a large text box full of broken up text (bullets, headings, etc) that I'd now like to break out into individual text boxes, but didnt realize I'd be doing so to begin with. I'm pretty certain in the past I did something that allowed me to basically break up the larger text box into individual boxes based on line breaks and obvious deliniations.
anyone know what im supposed to do? i may have dreamt this but I am pretty sure i did it before.
thanks if anyone knows. oh and i already looked through MS help and google and either wasnt searching correctly or didnt find it. 2/23/2010 4:26:52 PM |

lazy version: insert new text box, copy paste content from old into new. 2/23/2010 4:28:21 PM |

Never heard of such a thing (not to say it does or doesnt exist, I use PowerPoint daily and am a pretty heavy power user and still find new things every month or two it seems) 2/23/2010 5:40:39 PM |

don't make new text boxes. just cut the text you want, click outside the text box you have now, and paste. it automatically makes the text box. i did this all day long today 2/23/2010 8:19:45 PM |
