yep that common if u drink hard, been there. bet u have the shakes now and are going to get giddy after a while. U drinking way too hard, if u want to be high get prescriptions. they better for you health, more fun and don't make you depressed in the long run.

That used to be my excuse, but then I blacked-out my windows.
I'll pee, (optional: water + aspirin,) toke-a-bowl, then back to sleep.

I've never had any trouble sleeping in after a night of hard boozing. Other than maybe getting up to take a piss, I'm sleeping well. Sometimes the Bud Mud hits and I'll have to get up for that which sucks.

I go through something similar. Whenever I have to get up early for work, i swear i could sleep until noon. But whenever I have a day off, I am up all chipper and shit by 8AM. This happens no matter how late I stay up the night before.

Probably because that's when you sober up. Now is the time to start drinking again and just keep that buzz going

this happens to me all the time. The more I drink... the less I sleep. I think my body is trying to get back at me.

This does NOT happen to me. I can fall asleep anywhere at anytime, except when I'm going to bed at night. Regardless of how tired I am or how little sleep I've gotten, I have such a hard time sleeping at night

I always used to wake up at 7-8, go do stuff around the house for 3ish hours, then get really tired again and go back to bed for a bit. Hasn't happened lately though.

I've been waking up really early lately for no reason, too. Sleep's been sketchy lately, really restless and whatnot, but I still have been waking up hours before my alarm clock.

Back in college, before I started feeling like an old man after a night of heavy drinking, I would ALWAYS wake up SUPER early. I always just assumed it was because after passing out I would sleep heavier and more efficiently or something.

Sometimes, if you eat something with carbohydrates or sugar (i.e. a sandwich or warm milk with sugar or honey) the body gets the sugar it needs, the adrenaline goes down, you relax and then can go back to sleep. "

^ I can see that. Explains why I always wake up wanting a steak biscuit with cheese, french fries, and sweet tea from Bojangles and then I'm in a coma for a few hours after I eat it.

When it happens to me I wake up feeling super jittery and wishing it were possible for me to go back to sleep which would be explained by the adrenal release.
