Possible? Legal?

I always pay off my cards anyway and figure if I can get reward points on a mortgage payment or double points by going though two cards - or preferably both! - I should go for it.

You mortgage servicer won't accept payment via credit card. Merchants pay ~2% of total transaction price per credit card swipe.

As far as paying off a CC with another CC - you may have to do a balance transfer in order to pay one credit card with a different credit card. That will cost you 3-5% of the outstanding balance.

Well you can still pay all your other bills with a credit card. Power, Gas, Phone, HOA, etc
