My vocation: I'm a writer and public speaking consultant. My full-time gig is copywriter/Web Marketing strategist for Starwood hotels.

How I stay in shape: I train for marathons and miscellaneous races. I also wakeboard and surf.

My marriage pacts: I promised my brother's best friend that if we were both single by the time I turned 40, then we should get hitched. He's hilarious, so it could be fun.

Fastest marathon isn't very fast: 3 hours and 54 minutes at the Nashville Rock n Roll Marathon. I need to drop 14 minutes to qualify for Boston. That's my goal this year.

The5th, I suggest applying to Harris Corporation for a JOB JOB. In the meantime, you can probably find work via a temp agency. Temping can be a great gateway into a company. And no harm if you do it for a while and then take a new job. You could also try working as a bouncer downtown. The perks can be fun.

Temp agency? Hmm, not a bad idea. Not realy sure where to look for one around where I am now. Not in Raleigh anymore, but it is certainly a good idea. Gonna have to get on that.

No. Just a B.A. in English from NCSU. I was accepted to law school, but decided not to go.

Eventually I want to go back to school for an MFA in Creative Writing, but I won't have time for that for at least another year due to my busy schedule with area clubs/organizations.
