Selling my 2001 Yamaha banshee. It has lots of aftermarket parts and will put you flat on your ass if you aren't careful with it. I am asking $2700 OBO

I would def. consider trading for a cj5 or cj7 jeep

It has about 3 hours on a fresh top end, and new bearings in the transmission.

here is are the parts I can think of off the top of my head
-full bore plastics
-lonestar +2 a-arms and rear axle
-works dual rate shocks w/ remote reservoirs
-renthal fat bars w/ tag bar risers
-ported cylinders and milled head (done by toxic racing)
-keihn 38mm flat slide carbs
-v-force reeds
-fmf gold series fatty's w/ powercore 2 silencers
-hinson clutch basket

there is other stuff that I just can't think off the top of my head

put this thing on Ebay. You will never get what it is worth on here i doubt. I have seen quads with about the same setup sell for 8k here in MT.

just because I'm curious (I couldn't really afford this thing right now), is it like a racing/speed ATV kind of thing? It looks fun as hell.

[Edited on March 10, 2010 at 12:37 PM. Reason : although the torque of my raptor 660 was more fun ]

^ For real. 660R is some junk. Seems like everybody who wants to go fast on a 4 stroke gets a 450 class bike now.

My stock Predator would up and leave a 660r as well. The Banshee, well lets say I dont think I would have wanted to meet one in a race.

I had a 89 250r with a built 310 trinity motor that would sit right besides some modded banshees. The two smokes wont be around for much longer they are getting hard to find. This is very good deal for this banshee.

I wouldn't hesitate to line my banshee up beside a 450

I would say that it is a racing fourwheeler. The way it is geared right now it will run 70-75mph. Change the sprockets around and it will do over 100. Personally I wouldn't want to go that fast.
