Gotta 4 wheeler I need to get off of my truck. I loaded it on from another guys truck and now I need to unload it. I have a single motorcycle ramp, so I am now in need of either another cycle ramp or a wide atv ramp. I will pick it up and return it within an hour. Please let me know if you have something I can borrow. Thanks. 3/10/2010 12:15:39 PM |

most ditches provide adequate functionality... most 4wheelers balk at any drops under 2'. Just drive it off 3/10/2010 12:58:56 PM |

Ended up going with a ditch. My truck is 2wd, so I left nasty tire marks when I spun my way out. But the atv is off the truck. 3/10/2010 6:55:19 PM |

For reference from now on...You can just snatch an ATV out of the bed of a truck as long as they have a bedliner or don't mind scratching the edge of the tailgate. Slowly pull it until the back is hanging out and the front wheels are at the edge of the bed. Give it a snatch so it comes off without the front bumper hanging up and it'll land smoothly on all four wheels. After you do it once you'll never use the ramps for anything but loading again.
