Apparently it's the only candy you should eat if you're in Japan.

I think on one of those for beer or something, they had the shittiest beer on the chart not connected to anything, sorta like a "under no circumstances should you drink this beer" kind of thing. So maybe that's what they're going for.
But circus peanuts are awesome, so fuck that. 3/13/2010 11:40:01 PM |

I don't like dark chocolate with cayenne pepper, so I probably won't like those too much.
Dar chocoloate Kit Kat though, is awesome. As are Mint Kit Kat and Orange Kit Kat.
Recently, I also had Apple Cider Vinegar Kit Kat (Japanese). The apple flavor was awesome (no vinegar flavor), but the damn thing was made with white chocolate Also saw Green Tea Kit Kat for sale at the same sushi place from where I got the apple one. But since they are specially imported, they cost 5 times as much as a regular Kit Kat, so I didn't try the green tea one yet.
Most of the weird/interesting flavors come from Japan... what their fascination with Kit Kat? Very strange country... no where else in the world will you find Green Tea Kit Kat in a vending machine next to a vending machine with used undies of schoolgirls

Yeah most of the special flavor Kit Kats here are made from white chocolate. It sucks. When I was home in September I gave a bunch of weird ones to grimx and some other people. I think we were all in agreement that the vegetable juice Kit Kats were the weirdest.

It's not just Kit Kat, it's most candy here. Each region needs to have it's own "special" flavor and the candy companies make shitloads of money producing special souvenir flavors. Last time I was in Fukui I bought miso flavored Kit Kats 3/14/2010 9:16:13 AM |

which website do you use to buy these? I found one, but they want almost $2.50 a bar and have limited flavors. I'm okay with paying that, but I want choices! 3/14/2010 9:39:31 AM |

I order them off rakuten.co.jp, which I've heard does international shipping but I'm not sure.
