99 Ford Escort. Not working. Don't know what is wrong with the car. Asking $500. You have to be able to tow away. Lots of brand new parts over the last year.

4 door, 179,000 mi., new exhaust system, o2 sensor, idle air controller, that's all i know without looking at the papers. Had her completely serviced before I left Ohio.

Can you give us some indication of the symptoms you experienced? Did it die while driving, start sounding terrible and then go boom, or just turn the key one day and nothing happened?

I actually know an NCSU student who needs an inexpensive car right now, but he'd never be able to afford a major repair even on a $500 car. I'd try to help him with the labor if it isn't anything too major.

She just sort of sputtered out. She was running great, and hasn't ran since. I don't know what the problem is, but you're more than welcome to come check it out.
