Would like to clean a 2000sq ft house...all carpet.

Stanley steemer does good work but they are a bit pricey....any other recommendation. Carpet isn't terrible but needs help. In Cary.

I had pretty good results with ChemDry a few times.

If it isn't bad, why not try to do it yourself?

If you're looking to save money, most carpet cleaning companies have a reduced price for a high-traffic area cleaning, as opposed to all the carpet in the house. Unless you're getting rid of pet dander or the like, a high-traffic cleaning will usually give you the noticeable difference you're looking for without thinning your wallet as much.

Did they move the furniture for you?

they moved our couches, kitchen table, and our bird table. i told them don't worry about the tv area in the living room or the bed and dresser in our bedroom (since they don't get any carpet traffic anyways it would just be a pain in the butt)

chemdry cleaned my carpets yesterday! they did an AWESOME job. i have carpet rug things on top of hardwood that needs to be resealed, so regular shampooing won't work for my house. they did the living room, hall, 2 bedrooms, & my recliner for $120. they moved all the living room furniture (i told them not worry w/ the tv). they said they don't move big bedroom furniture, so we pulled a couple of things into the dining room.
