Welp, I've decided I want to buy a house soon, so I've gotta free up some cash.

I have a '90 Jeep Cherokee (XJ) 4X4 that I've completely stripped and built for offroad use. Not sure on mileage...over 100k. Engine still pulls great...has a slight tick and takes a second to startup, but other than that, once it's cranked, it GOES! zxappeal can attest to this.

It's a little rough around the edges, but would make someone a great crawler. I've driven this thing to Uwharrie two times and back...no problems at all. (minus a power steering leak that has been fixed).

Most parts were bought brand new and are about 1 year old....2 Trips to Uwharrie since being lifted, etc.
Specs:
-6.5" Rough Country Lift kit (full spring kit...NOT AAL)
-35" Maxxis Bighorn tires....~30% tread left...still plenty of life and grip amazing well out at Uwharrie
-D30 front axle, regeared to 4.88 and an Aussie Locker
-Ford 8.8 rear axle, regeared to 4.88 and a Lincon Locker (welded diff)
-15x8" Black Steel Wheels
-Tom Woods SYE kit
-Tom Woods custom driveshaft
-NICE steel front and rear bumpers
-Homebuilt hinged rear hitch Spare Tire mount with spare 35" tire...worked like a champ at Uwharrie
-Smittybilt XRC8 winch (8k pounds...more than enough to pull this thing) Only used Once.
-basically BRAND NEW spotlights on the front bumper...havent even used them yet. Just mounted them.
-Nice Roofrack for carrying extra camping gear for you and your buddies
-Optima Red Top battery - Installed and used for ONE trip to Uwharrie and it's been parked since.
Additional:
-NICE Cobra CB radio & antenna that's been tweaked & tuned for moar powr
-Dixie Horn (what offroad vehicle is complete without one of these?)

Interior carpet has been completely stripped and floorboards have been painted with a textured "bed liner" spray.

Automatic transmission with NP242 transfer case. (again, with Tom Woods SYE installed)

The bad:
The rear main seal is leaking pretty dang bad...but I have a brand new one that I'll give you that I havent had time to install.

Transfer case probably needs to be torn down and resealed, as there's a slight leak from where I didnt RTV it up well enough last time I rebuilt it. Everything shifts/works GREAT though.

Might want to reweld the rear spring perches to fix the rear driveshaft angle. It works fine, but it definitely needs to be tweeked. Or you could possibly install larger shims.

Spare parts that comes with it:
-Complete spare set of front D30 and rear 8.8 axle shafts
-Spare front driveshaft (can be bolted up as EITHER a front or rear driveshaft if needed on the trails)
-New in box Rear Main Seal
-New in package Transfer case seals
-whatever else I can find that I can give you

I'm asking $2700 obo. (Have a good bit more than that sunk into this thing...but I realize this is TWW) I realize i'm starting high on the price...but i'm not dead set on selling it either. Lots of blood was lost in the building of this thing, lol.

Might also consider trades on a good condition 4wd 4wheeler.

Pics in my gallery...can post more if needed.

Yes I realize the doors are off, and that's not the brightest idea...but all doors still close perfectly. I didnt get a chance to wheel this thing hard at all.

To answer a question I got via PM:

Yes, I have the doors. They STAY on the jeep except for when I went wheeling.
