I'm selling my tv, it's a 60" Sony Grand WEGA SXRD rear projection, KDS-R60XBR1
I purchased it in 2006, it's really an amazing tv, but i'm moving to a smaller apartment and don't have the space, so i'm downsizing. The bulb was replaced in 2007 under warranty. Otherwise I've never had any problems with it, works great, no scratches and the picture is awesome. 2 HDMI Inputs, 1080p, 60Hz
Here's some pics, the show on the tv is Life on the Discovery Channel (on right now btw), great show and I thought it would best represent the quality of this TV
Anyways, I was looking on CL to see comparable prices and I saw one the guy was asking $850 for it. Since this is the wolf web I'll start the bidding at $400
I am also selling the stand separately. Make offers in here or via PM. I have not posted this on CL, yet.
Pick up only, good luck! 4/4/2010 10:05:04 PM |

I used to have the same model TV before switching to LCD. This is an awesome TV and had an amazing picture. If you're not looking to mount the TV on the wall, this TV would be a good get.

Why did you have the bulb replaced? Was it because the screen turned blue? 4/5/2010 1:12:47 PM |

in the bottom right hand corner there was a greenish tint forming and when i called into sony they said it was a motor or a bulb. It's been 3 years I can't really remember which now. They came to my home and fixed it in ~15min for free and it has not had any problems since. I'm pretty protective of this tv since it was so expensive when i bought it (TV and stand at Tweeter >$4k) it's been taken care of very well. Oh and I have the remote too but do not have the original box or manual. The manual can be downloaded from sony's website for free. 4/5/2010 1:37:58 PM |
