Comes with all 5 satellite speakers in excellent condition, subwoofer in excellent condition, remote, and control POD. Also comes with speaker wiring and 2 stands for the rear speakers.

The current Control POD needs to be replaced as it developed a static popping sound (known issue on Z-5500's).

Starting at $100 OBO

God the control pods on these are fucking shit. Optical doesn't work at all through mine anymore and a friend's died within a year. They're still sweet speakers, though.

Yeah they really are nice speakers. Control POD is ..... meh. I took apart the POD to try and isolate the failing component, but don't really have time. Any EE should have a fair shot at repairing the POD.

Keep in mind all the inputs work, just have popping noises for the first 10 mins or so

uh yea, I have a Z-5300e set I paid $40 new, there is very little difference between the two.

sure you can find a bunch of retarded sites charging an arm and a leg, but just a little bit of searching and you find a much different price.

I would say if you look at the specs you will see the big difference in RMS ratings for the sat speakers, sub, and SNR. Not sure why you would say the difference is small. Quick search comparing the 2 sets is pretty black and white.

A quick search on google shows the cheapest set is at ~$315, and the lowest I have ever seen these are around ~250.

Highest bid at $50

Are the sound effects on World of Warcraft really that awesome that you need a set of $400 computer speakers to hear them properly? Why the hell spend that kinda cash on computer speakers from a company like Logitech when you can put that money towards a proper home theatre setup? Bose systems sell used on craigslist for less than $400 all the time. $400 could even get you a halfway decent Harmon Kardon or Klipsch setup. Hell even the primo companies like Martin Logan and B&W have entry level speakers that would blow away anything Logitech can produce.
