if its with a ncsu account, report him to the help desk and they'll deal with it.

If hes not, ignore emails and then bitch as hes not using his official university email account. Theres actually some university policies that will seriously get him in trouble with this.

I may be missing something, but where in those multiple emails is one piece of spam? I see on average 1 email per day from this individual. For an instructor, that may seem excessive from what is normally done, but by no means is spam. Yes it is more difficult to distinguish between official classroom communications and other things, but, get used to it if you plan on working in a professional environment.

Also, each to their own. I'd personally rather have an instructor try to encourage me to succeed and throw opportunities my way rather than completely ignoring their students.
