Maybe I missed this in all the years I've had my ipod...but is there anyway to play the songs on my ipod when connecting it to my macbook, without having to download/sync the music? I have all my music stored on another computer. 4/25/2010 3:52:51 PM

yes, expand the ipod in iTunes under devices and select your playlist...select the song...play...$profit?
This should still work for iPods...doesn't work for iPhones though. 4/25/2010 5:12:07 PM

any other audio player would show up as a mass storage device where you could access your songs, playlists, and even store random files on it like a USB drive...
...but you're talking about an Apple product 4/27/2010 7:47:12 PM
