So... It wasn't even Woodson who started to throw him out, it seems.
I suppose we really were right in thinking that the only reason Fowler still had a job was his association with the ol' boy's club that got kicked out. Hooray, I guess?

Huge hooray that he's gone, of course, but knowing that the above statement is actually true doesn't really make me feel any better about it. At least Woodson is awesome and probably not corrupt (yet).
