I normally take stuff to Wang's because she's cheap and decent, but for a suit i'd rather use a tailor who has a lot of experience fitting suits......that being said, has anyone used Duke's?
Oh and i'll pass on Lee's in Crabtree, they're just too packed 5/3/2010 7:22:50 PM |

I went to Duke's once. I was startled that Duke was, in fact, a short, poorly spoken Asian woman. Go figure. 5/3/2010 7:32:20 PM |

How was the quality? i don't know how to say this without sounding racist, but i would like a native English speaker who will actually help fit a suit to me rather than just do what i ask..... 5/3/2010 7:52:27 PM |

I haven't used Duke's, but the guys at Lile's in North Hills are excellent.
They REALLY know their shit and are the personal tailors for guys like Michael Jordan.

I recently purchased a new suit and had it tailored at Lee's in Southpoint Mall -- Despite it looking like it was going to take forever to get it done(quite a few people waiting in line) it only took 5 minutes to move through the line, get measured, got the suit pinned, and then I was out of there. I picked up the suit the next afternoon and it fit like a glove -- was only like $25 or $35 to have the pants and jacket done. I'd highly recommend them if you are around the Southpoint area at all. 5/4/2010 10:50:20 AM |
