I'm about to move and want to make the tile look brand new so I can get full deposit back. Any suggestions for grout cleaners? It's not terrible, just don't want to do hard labor to get it off. 5/7/2010 11:01:00 PM |

Grout colorant. Readily available and cheap. You will get color uniformity. Might cost you 20$
bleach will not clean out black soap scum, etc. 5/7/2010 11:19:37 PM |

Soft scrub works pretty well. 5/9/2010 8:06:32 PM |

once sanded cement grout is stained - it cannot be pulled out without a very expensive (and not guaranteed) poultice.
You should seal your grout to keep the pores from receiving stains. Therefore, grout colorant is the cheapest and easiest way to ensure uniform color.
or you can gently scrape a slight amount out of the joint with a grout grabber and then "re grout" with a similar color (this is hard). 5/9/2010 9:01:30 PM |

yup. but I did this on the caulking because nothing will get it out from that.
On the tile get the scrubbing bubbles foam. I've tried everything and that seems to work the best.5/10/2010 2:58:21 PM |
