They are fucking stupid because only one person can use it at a time. Normally you can get ice while the person in front of you is getting soda, and if they are getting a different kind than you want you can just get yours beside them. These just create a line, especially because old people/ kids are really bad at using them... it is computerized and confusing as fuck so that makes it all the worse. Hoping these are just a fad.

Seems like a new one of these is popping up every week. It's on the verge of it being weird for fast food restaurants not to use them. I don't go too wild on flavors, so these are mostly just a delay while I wait in line for other people to make their decisions (instead of deciding what they want before getting there). But most of my friends seem to be big fans. I'm fairly neutral on them so far.
