Yeah, I forgot about the tennis court murder/suicide. Those tennis courts were behind where the First Year Commons building is now. They locked the campus down, put snipers on the roofs and everything.

A kid got shot in the face at the north side bookstore ATM in 2000. Just a random gang initiation. He stumbled over to Carroll with blood gushing from his face. He lived though.

Weren't there a couple people shot to death outside Wolf Village?

The tailgating murders were around 2006 I think.

Campus police tasered a man to death at the intersection of Sullivan and Dan Allen back in around 2002 I think. Kid was either on drugs or had a heart condition, if you believe what the cops say anyway.

Lee in the early 70's was not a jumper.

Story from my Dad who was there between '72 and '76:

Guy in top story of Lee throws a burnt baked potato off the balcony and lands next to a guy and his girl friend. The guy then proceeds to run up the stairs of Lee and falls somewhere between 4-6 levels and busted his own head open on the stairs due to a slip.

Many people think he jumped, but this is the story; it was in the news when my Dad was at State.

It was Tucker in fall 2006. Guy was in my fyc class. Also, a guy died in Bragaw Fall 2007.

There were about 30 students who died in the old infirmary during the Spanish Flu in 1918 on campus. Eliza Riddick (Pres.'s Daughter, and her fellow matron, also died) died in the building and is buried in Oakwood.

In 1992, a basketball player (Anthony Robinson) killed himself in his dorm room, but I don't know what dorm it was.

The Spring Hill House (used to belong to Dix, I think holds the Japan Center now) is supposedly haunted, and they think that during the Civil War it might have been used as a hospital, so people probably died there.

There was that guy in Fall 97 or Spring 98 (I think it was Spring 98) who jumped off the fourth floor of that building next to Harrelson in a suicide attempt. He didn't die though...He just crushed his legs and made his life worse than it was before.
