so, i was sitting in my chair pondering about life, and out of the blue i had a moment of zen. everything was ok in life. it felt good. amid all the chaos in the world i felt as if it all was meant to be the wait it is and the way it will be.

I drove home to see my family today. I stopped to mcdonald's to use the restroom and saw my Dad's neighbor and another man, so I stopped by his table to speak. I thought it odd when I noticed the man was strangely wearing dark sunglasses inside.
I was leaving and by that time, 2 teenage girls were sitting with them, so I waved and left.
I ran to Lowes for some fasteners and went to the house. My brother and younger sister were outside when I drove up, so we caught up and laughed a few minutes. My Dad came out and we were very glad to see each other
About that time, our neighbor comes out with the man and 2 teenege girls. The man was driving a '78 Trans Am, like Burt Reynolds drove in Smokey and the Bandit. The neighbor points to the TA while looking at me and I jokingly ask "You want some?", a couple of times. My sister busts out laughing because she thinks I am talking to the 2 teenage girls LOL. I had to explain to her that was what guys said when they were challenging one another to a race. Then I asked if she thought I'd actually hit on two 15 yo girls from across the yard while standing with my family we laughed some more and my sister goes "they're on a double date".

You see, there's some back story to our neighbor, who is in his mid 60's. He's been divorced a couple of times, and has taken to dating young girls.
REALLY. Young. Girls.
He's already been in trouble with the police for it. He has been under surveillance, had his computer confiscated and his house searched.
But wait! There's more! My sister said they were talking to the girls and the man in the sunglasses is the father of one of them and the other girl is her friend. They told my sister they were on a "double date".

Fucking weird.

I was driving home from the gas station yesterday where I had just filled up two 5-gallon gas jugs for the tractors at home. I took a sharp turn and they both fell over, popping the top off of both of them. Poured about a gallon of gas in the back of my car before I could pull over. When I pulled over, gas was just pouring out from under my hatch. I got a pretty good buzz driving to work today.

I had trouble sleeping last night, so I was pretty sleepy today. After breakfast and morning chores, I decided to put sesame street on the tv for my son and try to catch a short nap on the couch. While laying there with my back to the room, my two year old walks up to be and I feel something touch my head and a big "MWAH!" Aww, my heart melted.
