This was sent to me in an e-mail. The first question is right and wrong. It should probably be reworded to include all of the sports that are similar.

Anyway, I got some of them right.

I seriously knew the asparagus one, well at least half of it. We have an asparagus garden that comes back every year.

#1 is really not all that true. Most of the experts certainly are pretty accurate in terms of their scorecard and can predict who will win a decision. Of course there is an uncertainty given the chance of a knockout but you can easily tell who is leading.

Have you ever seen fully grown asparagus? It's pretty cool. It grows to be about 3-4 feet tall and gets all bushy. You have to cut it pretty much every day if you want to eat it, otherwise it's pretty worthless. We just got back from a week in Florida yesterday and I had to cut it all down. Today there are already new ones coming up.

I agree with that too and like I said, kick boxing and MMA also use judges that announce the score after the fight is over. With all of that being said, no one knows the official score until the fight ends.

I knew 4 of them, and I thought of "dwarf" on that other question (but not "dwell" or "dwindle").

With that logic they Niagra Falls is moving forward, or is it sideways? This queston isn't about the rotation of the earth, it is about erosion.

I knew this one as soon as I read it, but since we are being technical and all with these questions, they shouldn't have that there because it is completely false.

Those are NOT seeds on the outside of a strawberry, those are the fruits. The fleshy red part is NOT the fruit, just a swollen receptacle that once held the ovaries.

I thought everybody knew that by now?

Name the one sport in which neither the spectators nor the participants know the score or the leader until the contest ends.

But people do know the official score while the contest is still going. After 1 hole of play the first golfer is leading and then other golfers tee off. If they do better than him then they will be in the lead, so after 1 hole of play someone will be leading and the score will be posted on the leader board for everyone to see. In boxing, kick boxing, and MMA the judges do not post the official score card after each round. People watch and can see who is performing better and try to keep score, but that still isn't the official score. The official score is only announced after the fight ends.
