One time I went there and got a super old bootleg of the Sonic Youth + Iggy Pop 7" and the super early print Misfits "Cough Cool" bootleg 7" made by the guy who started TAANG! records for like $.99 each. Seriously man. You know what those records were worth in the late 90's? Like a lot of loot. I should have got that loot back in the late 90's when I needed it, but they're still cool things to own.

We do play our weird music really loud haha...Just today I was playing Tom Waits (not that Tom Waits is THAT weird) in the store and some guy who bought two Iron Maiden CDs literally said "what the fuck is this shit?! sounds like he's FUCKIN' dying! but to each his own, i guess." that last part he said really OTT sarcastically and rolled his eyes. Good stuff.

It's a pretty great job, I've got no complaints. It's a relaxed, easygoing environment, I directly know all the people I work for, it pays the bills, and I get to listen to good music all day.

We might be hiring part-time in a month or so.
