It's for a nonprofit, so sorry no promised income. But if you hang around I'm sure some 'prizes' may come your way.

The basic idea is simple. We have a mobile-optimized website already running that takes care of Android/Berry/Apple/WinMo. The application just needs to launch a browser instance inside the application and displays the website. Simple business.

Currently I have the launcher from http://crackberry.com/how-create-blackberry-launcher and that's the base code. It now needs the capacity to change the application icon to indicate there has been an update and (obviously) the capacity to be backgrounded (with an option to background when you try to close it.)

Blackberry is the primary audience, Android is second, Apple I don't care about. Maybe WinPhone in the future, but it's going to be antiquated in a few months. We're planning on offering this as a simple announcement system and giving it away free. Not feasible on Apples model. Everything from Greek organizations at the local college to churches to food shelters will have access for no cost or one time low cost (just to cover the time to set it up and bandwidth.)

Also, we'll probably need some help server-side to make it all hum along.

Since we are a 501c3 I can offer $25/hour tax credit. Put in 5 hours, whatever, and next February you'll receive a certified letter documenting your donation. Dev's may also have access to 'leftover' webspace and bandwidth to use at their will.

If there's any interest for a weekend project I'll setup a Sourceforge page.
