this reminds me of the time i went to harris teeter to buy beer for my dad's birthday party. it was 11:52 am and i had to wait at the customer service counter for 8 minutes while 50 million people asked me if i needed help.

how do liquor sales in virginia compare to liquor sales in NC? do they have something like an ABC store or can you get liquor in a grocery store or what?

i'm only like 15 or 20 mins from the state line and this could be vital information someday

They have ABC stores and you can't buy alcohol after midnight. NC has the better laws.

word...well shit i'm 15 minutes from South Carolina...no beer on Sundays at all...but 24 hour beer sales otherwise

although if you're going on a beer run after 2am, it might not be the best idea overall

Beer after midnight is more important to me. It's been a while since I lived there, so I just looked it up and it seems that their abc stores are open on Sunday now, so that's pretty cool.

The only problem I have with the blue laws is that they're not totally enforced so I forget them.

Turns it into a guessing game.
