Bass Amp - $60 It's an Ampeg B3 bass head, which is basically just the head portion of the 90s B3 combo amps. It's rated for 150 watts at 4ohms and can drive 2 speaker cabinets. (I don't know what it is at 8 ohms) It can also be used as just a preamp.
The issues: Plugging or unplugging the guitar while the amp is on causes very loud pops, even at low volumes. Half of the pots are scratchy Tapping the bass amp near the input jack causes popping. Something is up with the ultra-mid knob. It feels loose, and I'm not sure it works through it's entire rotational area. There was a bit of scratching when moving one or two of the sliders on the 9 band EQ. One of the feet on the side is missing (but all 4 of the bottom feet are there).
I'm selling this because of my lack of repair skills and also because I have a GK 700RB to use. Picture: http://ellenfieldn.com/tww_fs/IMG_1057.JPG
Open to offers too. I sometimes forget to check here, so you may want to send an email to nwellenf@ncsu.edu if you need a really fast response.

Marvel vs Capcom and Street Fighter Alpha 3 are sold. Rest of Dreamcast stuff is now $20. KKnD Xtreme and RATM pending.
Fuzion: I could let all the computer parts go for $30.
smc: It's a few orders of magnitude louder than normal. Even with the volume all the way down, the pops are basically as loud as if it were cranked all the way up. It used to not do this. 6/10/2010 12:10:27 PM |
