NeuseRvrRat (12:14) : ok, so we picked up some salt and pepper shakers yesterday (just moved to our first place together) and the one for the pepper doesn't let the pepper out fast enough for my tastes
NeuseRvrRat (12:15) : it has a metal lid, so i decided i'd just drill out some of the holes
NeuseRvrRat (12:16) : fast forward to 10 minutes ago, i am on the phone with a sears parts lady trying to find a part number for an ice maker for my fridge
NeuseRvrRat (12:16) : and while i'm waiting for her to look up the stuff, i see the drill and the pepper shaker, so i decide i'll drill it out while i'm waiting on her
NeuseRvrRat (12:17) : so i take off the lid and drill out 3 of the holes, no problem there
NeuseRvrRat (12:17) : i decide i should get the metal shavings out before i put it back on the shaker
NeuseRvrRat (12:18) : i blow right into the underside of the cap and my eyes are instantly filled with pepper dust
NeuseRvrRat (12:18) : so the sears lady gets to hear me shout a chain of obscenities
NeuseRvrRat (12:18) : as my eyes burn
thumper (12:18) : ok i'm actually LOLing over here, thxu for the hilarious mental image
NeuseRvrRat (12:19) : then i have to explain to her the problem as i'm rinsing my eyes out on the sink
NeuseRvrRat (12:19) : *in
NeuseRvrRat (12:19) : end result is sears doesn't have the part, but my pepper shaker works great. and my eyes are still watering.
