I'm watching the live feed on CNN of BP "attempting to cap" the riser pipe and it's really lame.

I feel like the supervisor in the control room is saying "OK, now stick the saw blade through the plume of oil again........still nothing? Damn."

i was listening to NPR about this yesterday and they said similar oil leak in 70s took ~6 months to be capped! hopefully they have better tech now to fix it sooner!

Some expert on CNBC said the best option is detonate a nuclear bomb at the site of the blowout.

Apparently the Soviets did it 3 times in the 70s with success.

the only thing that sucks about it is is that there is oill in the marsh

id focus on gettin that taken care off ASAP, the marsh is the crux of marine life
