It'd be unreasonable to move or dissolve Israel at this point in time. Israel should move toward being a secular government though. It will be forced to do this over time anyway, unless it tosses out its democratic elements altogether. Israel isn't sustainable as an officially Jewish state -- I hope not to see it swing to being an officially Islamic state, either, as that's just as harmful and divisive. Secular gov't ftw.

Correct me if I'm wrong here, but the Jews were allegedly exiled from Israel thousands of years ago. Years later, the Zionist movement gained steam, and the British Mandate for Palestine aimed to make a national home for the Jewish people. Palestinians lived there during the hundreds or thousands of years in between, then Europeans showed up and said, "Oh yeah, other people are going to live here." Now, we're here defending the people that were allowed to move back and saying that the Palestinians don't have a right to be there.

Sorry, but what makes any of that justified? The only thing I see is the bible. I wish both groups of people would just forget their religious zealotry and agree to live and let live, but that's too much to ask apparently. I say we (the United States) stop interferring and let things work themselves out, because we're broke and we can't afford to help anymore. Plus, Israel has no incentive to make peace, because they know we'll threaten to nuke someone if worse comes to worse.
