For sale, 1981 CJ5 Renegade.

4.2 Inline 6, t176 4 speed, dana 300 transfer case.

This is definitely a project jeep, but it has a lot of potential. It is pretty much all original and has not been monkeyed around with. The only things that aren't factory are the wheels and the winch on the front (old school Ramsey worm gear winch, maybe 8,000lb?). It has a factory tilt steering column. The frame on this jeep is rock solid, I haven't found and rust holes anywhere. The body on the other hand does have quite a bit of rust in the floors, rocker panels, and around the bottom near the rear bumper. I do not have a top for the jeep but it does have the frame for the factory soft top and I have the factory doors. The jeep runs pretty good and doesn't smoke or knock. Pretty much all the electrical stuff works (even the 4wd lights in the speedo) Last time I was driving the jeep something happened with the clutch and now it will not move even if it is in gear. (I am pretty sure it is in the clutch and not the trans.) This would be a great jeep to restore. My phone # is 704-202-5272 and my email is Cohen490@hotmail.com
