that actually happened to me when i was about 3 or 4.... cat was walking around the rim of the tub and fell in.

used me as his personal scratching post trying to get out of the tub - i was covered in claw marks

my cat is pretty chill around water, but we've never tried putting her into a full tub. When we give her a bath we use warm water and a spray nozzle, but she seems content, lays down and acts like she enjoys it. If you ever take a shower, she's got her paws up on the screen like she wants to come in, and if you are taking a bath, she'll jump up on the ledge, dip her tail and paws in and act all curious. Fortunately shes never fallen in...at least on my watch.

the cats my parents used to have hated getting baths. It was such a chore. One of them peed on me.
