Miami's great too. I was defending Miami when you guys shitted on it but always knew LA was the best. Miami is probably the best vacation/party city though. So tropical...

I never thought I would see someone shit on LA until today so I don't try to support it normally since most people know its great.

San Diego is a better quality of life but nowhere near as much culture arts and entertainments.

LA isn't that great. I recently spent a week there for work.

As others have said...lots of poverty, smog, traffic, traffic, and more traffic. The weather isn't all that great. The ocean hardly gets up to 70 degrees F. I can appreciate NC a lot more after spending time there.

you can't make a great subway system because the city is GINORMOUS. of course the roads are packed because everyone wants to go to all the cool areas in the la area. the subway in la is great for getting where youre going if you're traveling between places that areboth on the routes.

its a top notch city that o by the way has palm trees and beautiful beaches all over the place. its the entertainment capital of the world.

la can go to ever continent . Koreatown is a huuuge chunk of the city with like 200k people. nyc is the only place with similar cultural diversity.

none of those "rich" areas compare to the hills or malibu or santa barbara.
