I have a fence above my house that earwigs love. I could go up there right now and turn one of the wooden rails, like 20 earwigs would fall out of the hole.

Funny story, I was draining a water heater once and I had to prime the water hose to get it to start siphoning out. I put the water hose up to my mouth and pulled several times, capping the end with my hand after each pull to maintain the pressure. On the fifth pull or so the water came rushing out, pushing dozens of earwigs into my mouth and causing me to instantaneously vomit. The resulting pile of vomit, earwigs, and water was disgusting like something from a horror movie.
