My dad sends me these chain emails from his tea party friends all the time knowing that I'm a reasonable person and thus have opinions that differ from his and I finally snapped today.

I sent back a rant that said:

"Dad,

These chain emails that you send me are poorly written, often dishonest at best, and badly formatted. Please do not send me anything else before checking snopes.com to see if what you are sending is, in fact, true."

Almost everyone in my family is democrats, and the few republicans know better than to send out stupid email forwards to everyone else.

Political forwards that is, my mom does send me a bunch of "touching" and religious forwards, and my dad sends me a bunch of "funny" forwards. I don't want any of them but they always expect me to read them.
