Yeah, this has been pushed back for like 2.5 years. Annoying as shit.

That being said, I will aquiring this game with the quickness. I might end up with the wheel if the controller doesn't cut it. I was fine using the controller on the PS2 version.

I thought it would get better exposure here since that one was in The Garage.

Also, there is some discussion that not all the cars will have fully-modeled cockpits. I guess trying to capture every detail of the interiors on 1000+ cars was going to take way too long for them to do, and probably is "better suited for the next-gen PS console". needless to say, I'm disappointed

I plan on using my force feedback steering wheel that came out for GT3 (though I bought it when I got GT4). It's not a 360° wheel, but you can turn it 180° each way so good enough. And on those long high speed straights (like Le Mans) it really works your forearms, lol.

The funny thing for me is that I don't have an HD TV. I still have a CRT Samsung 27" model and have told myself that when GT5 comes out I will finally upgrade, lol. Guess I should start budgeting some money for a new TV.

I am so pumped for this game and so depressed that it has been delayed.

I have a logitech driving force pro that I've been using with GT5 and it's pretty awesome. I've been playing with the force feedback on 10 and it really works your arms. I'd totally jump on the G27 for $150

I like how this was suppose to be the flagship game for ps3 when the ps3 came out. I waited too long for this shit, gave up and sold the ps3 last year. Its' one thing to delay the game and make it perfect, but this is turning into a Duke Nukem vaporware.

GT6 will probably come out before this is released.

Is this actually going to come out in 2010?

Because Duke Nukem Forever is set to come out in 2011 and it would be hilarious if it beat GT5.

I also find it humorous that all 3 Forza games were released between GT4 and GT5.

Still, it should be pretty awesome. Probably not going to buy a steering wheel for the PS3, the 360 already beat that race to my wallet.

i'm clinging to the hope that when kaz yamauchi says they delayed the game "because they want to deliver the most perfect racing experience" or something that he actually means that they'll address the features that Forza did well (car auctioning, drivtrain/engine swaps, rewarding you if you use less assists). I mean, its obvious the graphics and the driving engine will be better, but i'd love it to be packed with some neat features too.

but yeah, it goes without saying that this is a day 1 buy for me
