The best part is up here where I am. You get on in Roanoke and drive through farm country with just as many vineyards as overlooks. On Saturday there's tastings all day.

If you haven't been to Peaks of Otter, you haven't done the Blue Ridge.

Also, you have to complete the full trek and do Skyline Drive too.
