So a friends wedding is next weekend and at the reception a few of us were thinking of attempting to sing together..We want it to be something comical even though us trying to sing will be comical enough. Also, it would be great if it was a song that would get everyone involved. Point being, the wedding is next weekend and we have yet to find a good song. Any ideas?

just find a song that you like (melody wise)

and change the words to make it about your friend

It's not making the wedding about yourself to do a song, as long as the people involved have been the funny/flighty friends of one of the bride or groom. Now, if the majority of the reception doesn't know you, it could be a problem.

And I agree with total eclipse of the heart. Or other silly songs. Perhaps age of Aquarius?
