The first time I got caught getting drunk by my parents was drinking Scope when I was like 11 or 12. I was about 40% of the way through the biggest bottle you can get at Wal-Mart. Mom was pissed!

Yeah, someone I know has been doing it for quite some time. Didn't really find out until recently, but it makes sense when I go back to think about it.

I mean, if you're over 21 I don't see any reason to be drinking Listerine when you can just go get some Aristocrat. Maybe there is something even cheaper that I don't know about. That stuff is like $4 a pint or less which is pretty cheap. Maybe even just get the bottle of Everclear if you're that hard up.

I think the bums drink it because it's easy to steal. You let a bum walk up in the liquor store and they're going to eye him like you wouldn't believe.

Sometimes people drink it when they can't get their hands on nothing else.

Like when they need a drink right then and there, and there's no booze in the house. Or if it's after two or whatever... Or if you're at work and the regular stash has run out, but you can't leave work...

Mouthwash is usually about $5/bottle so yeah, I'd think a cheap bottle of vodka would be a better investment.

My father-in-law said that he had an alcoholic uncle and they locked in a room to keep him from drinking one night and the uncle drank shoe polish that he filtered through a couple pieces of bread....

there have been a couple, but im sure the one youre thinkin of....it was real bad she had it stashed EVERYwhere and the family would take away the alcohol abut not do anything about the mouthwash

and she got drunk off it right before goin to court and they sat there and watched her and she got her ass locked the fuck up

Alcoholics, like any addict, will do damn near anything for their fix.

Yeah, i've known someone to get that low and desperate to try and cover their ass or be sneaky. Cause if there's anything I know an addiction will do is make a fabulous liar and plotter.
