I'm working on an excel sheet with drop-down lists. I initially used data - validation - list to make drop downs. There is a main worksheet with certain columns being free-text and others being drop-down lists. I have all the lists in separate worksheets and simply aliased (named) them so that I could =ListName in data validation. The issue I'm running into is the lack of capabilities with these drop-down lists. I need to be able to manipulate the # of ListRows in the drop-down that are displayed at once so that there is less of a need for scrolling, as well as some sort of auto-complete feature to minimize scrolling. Excel auto-complete blows I cannot use another program (or I'd be all over MS Access). I've tried messing with floating ComboBoxes but the whole, output to index number, translate output to new cell in regards to index just makes everything too messy.
Suggestions?
