Got the new iPhone 4, selling my ~1.5 yr. old 3G with original packaging, headphones, a black Speck hard case, green silicone gel case, USB cable, a few new screen protectors, etc.

Battery is in excellent condition, runs well and as fast as the day I bought it.

Looking for $150 OBO by Wednesday. Can jailbreak if necessary, available for pickup in Apex (near Wake Tech), Garner (near White Oak shopping center), can meet around the Lake Wheeler/Tryon area, or deliver in the Triangle for a few bucks extra.

hence the OBO. that was a starting price based on comparable craiglist and ebay offerings. i figured I'd give it a shot here first instead of messing with ebay or CL. I've had good experience buying and selling on tdub so thought it might be a good starting point.

I'm glad to see ^ and ^^. I tried to do my homework, i'm not trying to screw anybody, just want to get a fair price for it. I actually thought $150 was pretty fair and would move it. we'll see though.

just stick it on craigslist and it'll be gone soon enough.

well I stand corrected if that's the going price - seems really high to me for an 8GB 3G... Particularly with the 4G out and everyone wanting to unload their 3Gs models

^yeah, that seems to be the going rate. I was ready to let it go for $150, but when I shot down a CL person saying he was too late, he offered $185. I figured I'd give the first responder first right or refusal.

^^you were right, I've gotten a ton of responses already.

^just dont be a craigslist douche nozzle. Freaking answer emails and when it's sold take the listing down or mark it sold in the title

I've promised this to a craigslist buyer for $185. It's standard 8GB, non-jailbreak. I had a ton of responses and probably could've gotten more for it, but I'm plenty satisfied with $185.

So for now, it's SOLD. I'll post back up if the deal falls through (as CL deals often do.)
