1) This sweet old couple sold me a kiln for a third of it's price because they hadn't used it in years and it was just sitting in storage. Then she threw in a $200 rock tumbler and some extra supplies just to be a fucking awesome old lady

2) At work today, I hung up on a call from a service that lets deaf people video chat with a live operator who then relays the message to me because he sounded like a robot and i thought it was spam. My boss was standing right next to me and said "Actually this lady called yesterday using that service so they'll probably call back although I told the lady that she needs to wait until after noon (it was 11:30). After they called back a min later I apologized but told them we were swamped and we'd appreciate giving us a call in 30 minutes. Then they asked to talk to a manager and after my manager told me to take care of it myself I tried helping them with an order. At that very moment they demanded that the manager get on the phone even after I repeatedly tried to help them with an order and told them he would be unavailable unless they called back in 30 min. This person immediately goes into a tirade about how they want help right now and how they can't believe we are discriminating against deaf people. The operator's yelling pretending to be this other person, I'm trying to explain our policies, the operator's yelling at me for real because he's got two people yelling back and forth. It was a huge mess. Being deaf does not give you priority over other clients, I don't know what this person thought they were entitled to but they acted like I asked them to call back when they could use their own vocal cords, when we really just didn't have the time to deal with another client at the time. I think the conversation ended with "SO YOU DON'T WANT MY BUSINESS?" to which I replied "We would love to have your business...in 30 minutes if you'll call back then". I also tried to get their information so we could contact them when it was a better time but the operator yelled at me after I asked 5 times in a row for the info and the person just kept on with their tirade.
