Do you have them? sort of... my dad adopted me, then got remarried and had 2 kids with his new wife. so technically we're not related at all.

Older, or younger? younger, by a lot. I'm closer in age to my step-mom than my siblings.

Did you grow up with them? no, I was graduating high school when my first sibling was born.

How was that? I was an only child and only grandchild until 17 years old... I didn't like it.

Were you close? not really. I'm hoping we'll get closer as they get older.

I have 2 half brothers, 2 half sisters, and 1 sister. My oldest brother is 49, I think. I am the youngest, 8 years younger than my sister. They are all crazy.

1 sister 5 years younger than me. we grew up together. we got along, but have never really been that close.

she's been married for 5 years and has 3 kids. i'm still single with no prospects.

i have two older step sisters, both older by at least ten years, one older sister, by 2.5 years, and a younger half brother by 11 years. wasnt close to any of them until about a year ago when i started getting close to my sister. my 1/2 brother and sister lived with dad, i lived with mom, and the stepsisters were in college when my mom married their dad.

Yes, I have an older sister. We're not that far apart in age, and we grew up together. It was awesome, and we are very close. She's one of my best friends.

I think some of our closeness has to do with parenting. They doted on us when we were very young, but once we were old enough, I was like, "Mom, Dad--"

"Fuck off and go play with your sister."

(This was typically phrased more politely: "Entertain yourself, Bridget.")
