Interesting to see James Callis (aka BSG: Baltar) on the season premiere. At first his voice really threw me off, although I was still pretty sure it was him. Once he took the hat off though it was totally obvious. And when he spoke fast he couldn't really keep the deeper voice he was putting on. All in all, pretty interesting. Wonder how they'll fix this new problem that has sprung up, or if they will want to. Seems like Lupo was the only one that came out on the shit end of that deal, and maybe Blake if she's no longer in charge of GD.

Am I the only one that was really expecting Stark to show up at the end of that episode? That would have been a great "oh shit" moment. 7/12/2010 6:35:01 PM |

I have been waiting for Nathan to show up for a while now. That shit with him disappearing was so obviously a way to let him come back at some point in the future. 7/14/2010 5:46:08 AM |

^^I was saying the exact same thing while watching it. I thought that was the perfect time to have him come back to the show.
So annoying that Carter and Allison finally show some real feelings for each other and Jack comes back to find Tess and him are still together.
I liked the first episode, don't get me wrong, but man they changed a ton of things in just one episode. 7/14/2010 8:06:03 AM |

/\/\ i was surprised that they ended it between jack and tess so early in the season, but other than that I'm pretty sure that after they get Dr. Grant back to his time that everything will return at least mostly back to normal. 7/14/2010 10:41:53 AM |

Unfortunately, i think you're right. I, also, would have liked Tess to stick around longer. If nothing else, she and Carter seemed to have pretty good chemistry. The whole Allison/Carter thing seems it's being forced on us by the writers now. 7/15/2010 9:23:02 AM |

well i like this turn of events, i got the impression that they might keep the new timeline when henry explained the ripple theory (that most of what changed would be close to them, though a couple of big changes could make for some interesting story lines). my big question now is how to they explain dr. grant and what sort of role will he play in the town now. 7/17/2010 1:33:02 PM |

I liked Season 4. Didn't like the ending though. Thank goodness they were able to finish their 5th season +1 to wrap things up.
SPOILERS IF YOU HAVEN'T SEEN SEASON 4
Also, I hope they have some controversy over someone trying to get Sherrif Andy recognized as the first "person" on Titan. He's effectively sentient just not biological.
Then again, that'd turn an episode either into a repeat of Bicentennial Man or "The Measure of a Man" from ST:TNG. Not that I'd complain about the later, but I think it'd be really hard for a light-hearted show like Eureka to do the concept justice.
[Edited on September 27, 2011 at 9:52 AM. Reason : They sorta hinted at the concept in the episode, but left it flat like there was a script rewrite] 9/27/2011 9:52:32 AM |

Looks like the show was cancelled and SyFy cancelled the show without informing the cast or creator.
I really don't understand this network.

It's not SciFi anymore, that's what's wrong with it. I don't know who's in charge now but I've gotten the impression that they don't particularly like SciFi. They seem to want to make a monster movie version of SpikeTV. 9/27/2011 5:57:37 PM |

Yea the way they have fumbled this shit up with the cancellation announcement has made a bad situation worse. I think most would have said that the 6 episode season 6 would suck to lose the show, but would at least let the writers have time to wrap it all up.
Still not sure why they are doing this. SyFy (ugh) has done more wrong in programming than right IMO. I like Alphas, but buoy that against cancelling all Stargate shows, no more Battlestar shows, and after Eureka is gone I will only be watching SyFy for Warehouse and Alphas. I used to watch a LOT more SciFi before it was the Rasslin'/Reality Ghost Hunting Network. Yuck.
