Never been in there before. Will they card everyone in your group or just the person buying?

even leaving the kids in the car isn't very safe
I knew an underage kid that got an alcohol violation when he was riding with his 21 year old friend. Beer was in the trunk. Cop got him on some "intent to drink" jibber jabber

If they're underage you don't need to go anywhere nicer than food lion.

^^ Tr00. we have to think of the children!!

yeah, there's a difference between the two. In a stroke, there is either too much, or too little blood flowing to the brain, I think.

Dude, It's Food Lion's company policy to card everyone who they deem to be with me. I got into a big argument over that stupid shit with a cashier. I called their policy "fucking stupid" and none of their "fucking concern." The manager came over and told me that there was nothing he could do. Of course, it didn't help that the cashier was a black woman with a chip on her shoulder. Which was fine by me, as I just left all of my items there (I wasn't just buying beer), which was about a shopping cart worth of groceries, and let her deal with it.

I find it ironic that Food Lion is the only place that has given me this type of problem. Harris Teeter doesn't give a shit, or anywhere else I have been too.

I just don't like the fact that at Food Lion the same rule doesn't apply when someone under 21 is buying groceries with an adult (that is old enough to be their parent). They don't card the youngster in situations like that. Double standard like woah.

haha, I remember freshman year, I stayed in the international dorm. well, a few of the brits went to Food Lion, tried to buy some beer, and were fucking DENIED.

Reason: The cashier (nor anyone in the store) could recognize a VISA. A fucking VISA. That shit's >>>>>> a cotdamn NC drivers license.
