kinda sad no one came by to visit for 4 days. shouldn't the kids be coming by two to three times a week for 'visits' (aka: death watch)? 7/16/2010 1:21:59 PM |

That is amazing. WOW. How did that cat take care of itself for 10 days? Do cats ever die? Probably not; they're little spawns of Satan and this proves it.7/16/2010 1:24:36 PM |

^^ did the son live in the same state?
i mean my dad doesn't stop my my grandmother's house every 4 days and she is 20 minutes away
but people do call her all the time so if someone couldn't get ahold of her for several hours though i think they'd inform my dad or his brothers and someone would go over. and how you couldn't notice they were missing between now and july 9th is beyond me. shouldn't SOMEONE have noticed? that is just sad.
but my grandmother also has life alert. no joke. so when things happen she just presses her little necklace.
^ wat? are you actually retarded? i think you are.

I thought it was just 4 days. This makes more sense now.7/16/2010 1:25:58 PM |

the worst / best part about this is wondering whether they had no music, or muzak in their elevator, and further, how many times they were rickrolled if it was the latter.]] 7/16/2010 1:27:07 PM |

^now who's the retard?
It's Georgia. In the middle of the summer. In the middle of a heatwave.
No electricity = no air = temperatures outside heat place up. 7/16/2010 1:30:23 PM |

^ well yea i just didn't know the power went out. people get stuck in elevators all the time and are fine sooo i wasn't sure.
according to that article elevators even in private homes are required to have phones though
that is sad. they also said they'd been having mechanical problems since like april/may

Its so hard to convince old ppl to carry a cell phone. 7/16/2010 1:35:08 PM |
khcadwal All American 35165 Posts user info edit post |
it IS. true story. my grandmother NEVER answers her cell phone or has it on her.
but my grandmother has life alert (well something similar a pendant that is like intertwined with her alarm system so she can press it and have help come)
she didn't used to wear the pendant though (which is unhelpful) until something happened. she fell and hit her head and hurt her hip and had to like army crawl inside to the alarm system and set it off. LUCKILY she didn't die and she learned her lesson. so now she wears the pendant
