just get a man who loves to eat and will clean if you cook.

it's a fair trade.

that's how my deal is too

except its sexy to cook together.

it's not sexy to clean together, but it's more endearing to do so.

there's something that's just a raw turn-on to cook together and make beautiful food with someone you love.

a job, good health, for everyone around me not to be dead, maybe some possessions if i can ever afford any (though i've quickly realized how much of a responsibility owning a home/condo/townhouse/etc is), a tv that doesn't take 6 people to lift

i don't want a maid per se. more like a personal assistant who can do all the things i don't want to do. laundry. clean out my closet. organize my life. etc hehe

I think considering I'll be 30 in a month, I must regretfully consider myself grown up. So I have to ask myself, of the things I wanted when I grow up, do I have them?

-Nice house: NO
-Any house, so long as I own it: NO (I rent)
-Fat bank account and retirement nest egg already started: NO
-Lack of debt: NO
-Nice car: SORT OF (It was nice nearly 4 years ago when I bought it)
-One or more old project cars: SORT OF (I still have my first car but it's in storage in Greensboro)
-Well equipped garage and comprehensive set of tools: NO
-Big TV, fancy computer, nice stereo system: NO
-Guitar Collection: NO (I have one nice one, but I've had that since I was in HS)
-Pool Table: NO
-Well-equipped kitchen w/professional grade appliances: NO
-Someone who loves me for who I am, and who I love for who they are: YES

My list is looking pretty rough but at least I have the one that is by far the most important.

i don't know when we become "grown up"
30?

anyways. my faith in this or ever having it is rapidly fading. well i guess i mean having it permanently. what i am saying is i question the existence of permanent loving someone for who they are and them loving you for who you are. :/

^ I don't think one should base their life decisions on other people's mistakes. Maybe it should make you more cautious but never lose faith or you'll end up just losing yourself.

A bar. Preferably one that I made myself. It will probably be crooked for that reason though.

Other than that, I can't think of anything so I'm going to add an imagination to go along with the bar.

Why would someone get a table for their pool, I don't get it. And BigEgo's list reminds me of my parents house

Anyway, in order of preference:

[what bmel said, esp home gym]
Sweet car
House that has modern and artistic interior
Pimped out kitchen
Decent sized private backyard
House that has privacy from its neighbor; ie their house isn't 5 feet away
Garage equiped for typical man stuff and science
Sound proof home theater room, with surround sound and projector system for movies and games
Possibly equipment for glass blowing...to make science glassware

A Koenigsegg CCXR
more stamps in my passport
my own swimming pool (or at least access to a fairly private one with a diving board)
better ability to judge which things I need and which I don't

thats the second time ive seen you mention that car

from what i understand it's undrivable unless you've got "the reflexes of a house-fly"

plus its made from like old missile silos and shit

well i never have fun at a pool when i'm by myself, and i've never been one to skinny dip, so i like neighborhood pool just fine.

and when I first read
Quote :
"Sound proof home theater room, with surround sound and projector system for movies and games"
i thought ThePeter wanted a room that you couldn't actually transmit sound in (like some kind of a vacuum) for his home theater room.
