I just gave the boss notice so I know he will be looking for either one fulltime or two parttime positions. I can only talk about my personal experiences but the base pay is 6.50 + tips. Last night I made 100 in 4 hrs. Now remember this is not papa johns or dominoes. Our average total is much higher thus your tips are higher. Plus its going to mostly businesses and rich people. You might only take 10 to 15 runs but still come away with 50 bucks cash on a good night. Must have dependable transportation and you have to wash alot of dishes occasionally but overall its the best job you can probably find that even an idiot could do. you kind of answered your own question, i didn't get fired from this great job i'm leaving for law school and clearly i wouldn't recommend the first job (unless you can also get them to wrongfully terminate you so you can win a legal proceeding against them as well)

not only that but if you compare the first job and this job it's almost the same pay (hourly) and half the work. not having to get up before 10am most days and not going in until 5pm on others is also another great advantage.

it's 100% not possible to make the minimum wage at this job. atom bomb in downtown raleigh aside. it's a shitty night if i make $25-30 in tips from 5pm-10pm so that's still $11.50/hr

yeah i didnt know the downtown area that well so i used my droid as my GPS but you'll get to know Wake Forest Rd/Capital/Atlantic/Downtown/Five Points very well in no time
