I have a bald spot in one of my cypress trees where I had to trim it back a good bit and some of it died. Is there any way to encourage new growth in that spot?

umm...they don't do the whole epicormic branching thing so basically you're sol.

What did you trim off and what died? Pics would be helpful.

meh, maybe the branches above it will get heavy enough to cover it

fuck you city of raleigh for forcing me to cut them back
